Small Claims Court
& Magisterial District Justice Cases

For most people, their only contact with the courts is in Small Claims Court. Small Claims Courts (presided over in Delaware County and the Main Line by Magisterial District Justices) handle smaller lawsuits, minor criminal cases, and traffic tickets and other matters. Businesses who appear in small claims court must be represented by an attorney, and most individuals also need an attorney. In Haverford, cases are assigned to District Justices Robert Burke and Lisa Lacianca.

We are familiar with the rules and procedures for small claims courts, and understands that no case is small if it is your case. We will work with you to handle your case, and do so at a reasonable fee.

If you are involved in a small claims court case, you should be sure to hire an attorney who knows how to handle it. If you, a family member, or a friend needs a lawyer, contact us at (610) 446-3457.
